DC Rx Card Program Director Allan Browder had the privilege to sit down with Carletta Washington, mother of Samerya Montgomery who was a 2019 Childrens Hospital Week Champion in Orlando, FL. Carletta and Samerya both have gone through so much since Samerya was diagnosed with a life threatening disease when she was 4. If not for the amazing job the team of Childrens National Medical Center in Washington DC, Samerya’s life could have taken a completely different turn.
